I hope the person who did this to that lovely C59 is sat in the corner looking at the wall and reflecting on what bad things they’ve done. Interesting single speed conversion using a mech with no cable – no front brake. It’s like a priceless piece of art that someone had hanging in the downstairs lavatory – please put it back to its natural state.

@P20 Yes I bought one just before Christmas and had my Zonda Wheels and Chorus drivetrain transferred across. It is fast (more bike than I can use at the moment coming off the back of 18 months very little bike riding). Comfort is ok longest ride to date is just under 3 hours and I’m not yet accustomed to the drops. Mines a rim-braked frame which I’m told won’t be available this year.

It’s a pampered baby and lives in the house on its own bracket complete with Ernesto’s signature.

It’s currently sharing with a load for the tip when they next re-open

Lol he really doesn’t care, he chucked it together just to cruise around on, now its in my possession it will prob end up with an Ultegra R800 di2 or Dura Ace 9000 di2 groupset on it

If it’s a 52Sloping I could offer up my daily ‘government mandated’ fresh air rehabilitation and ritual cleansing service to aid the recovery from its prior maltreatment…I suspect you may be keeping it though.

You are out of luck its 54s

After some closer inspection today it has suffered some heal rub to the right hand chain stay and has a few deep chips here and there

Have decided rather than paying out over 1k to put a di2 groupset on it (its a di2 only frame) Ive run a gear cable through the di2 cable hole to the 105 rear mech that’s already on there, i also fitted a Shimano 10 speed cassette

Just need to source a 10 speed mtb shifter and ill keep it as a 1×10 flat handlebar bike for work etc…will add a front brake though!

So, randomly this morning, a former customer of mine got in touch with me, asked me if I still had my V1-R, and did I want to sell it…

    I am now desperately looking for a C60 in a 52S… Please help! 😁

@rt60 Please put a black saddle on that when you get 5… Otherwise, looks lovely. Nice stealthy understated build 👍
