[Closed] Coil shock on a 5
Is it worth sticking a Fox coil shock
on a Orange 5 for the rocky trail/downhill sections
as oposed to using the RP23
And is it going to be any better?
i swapped a rubbish swinger 3way for a cheap vanilla RC. bike is miles better.
a good air shock may have had the same effect.
you'll at least look a bit more hardcore ๐
RS yer LOL
Coils still offer superior performance to air overall but it's just as important to have a dAmper that is set up properly for you and your bike. A well sorted fox vanilla from either mojo or tf (tf can also offer a "Push" after Market tune on the van) will give you more control better grip and thus more speed. But only you can decide if the weight penalty is worth it.
Considered getting the air shock Pushed instead?
Good point Chakaping But as rs pointed out looks Hardcore
but mainly wondered would the coil be a better shock for the
Hard rocks and Downs
