    Gen 1 leafs now from around £4.5k inc battery!

    1 pence per mile in ‘lecy, so 50p a day!  After two years, you could probably sell just the battery for £2k………

    Pretty much zero maintenance, won’t need brakes or tyres either

    Golf diesel, Volvo V40 diesel (1.6) Focus diesel, Polo 1.4tdi, Octavia…..diesel. Seat Leon….diesel. Get the drift?

    There should be enough models in there that have been around for long enough to pick up a cheap 10 yr old one, or something a bit more recent, but they should all return 55mpg +  on the motorway. Also, bar the Polo, they are all of a size that give you a bit more metal around you, should the worst happen, but also comfortable motorway cruisers.
