Cecile Ravanel Down and Out for now

Looks like Cecile took a bad spill. Hope she heals quick as it’s going to be a quite EWS this year with out her.

Saw that – bad news – hope she gets well soon.

There is a bit of me that thinks it will blow the season wide open though.

Yeah that was my second thought, but a bit like a Women’s Downhill race without Rach at full strength any wins will not quite be the same. Hopefully she will be well enough to turn up and heckle everyone at the European rounds later on!

Ouch, I was always excited to see her absolutely squash the competitors. Hopefully she will heal up well.

But for the racing action, this could throw it wide open. Well, until Cecile heals up and comes back to win the whole thing. She is the EWS equivalent of Rachel Atherton.

I think it just ends up with Isabeau being dominant but it does open stuff up a bit.
