Looking for some information regarding Carbon vs steel forks for CX.

Getting a nice little cx build together and frame/fork question keeps popping up.

Options are follows

1: Alum frame Made from Columbus Custom 7005 Tubing with a steel fork.

2:paul milnes 56cm CT x wing frame, carbon fork

option 1 is £100 cheaper, but ofc older frame and steel fork compared to carbon.

Riding will be commuting and during winter entering local cyclocross races.
