Have you tried asking a little girl to do it? ;D

(I think they may require a bit of force?)

i cant even see where its meant to click in tbh the bit where it looks like it may click into is bigger than the seal itself its very confusing . what with my brakes post im looking like a right hamfisted numpty lol good job i can service my fox forks to balance things a little 😉

don,t panic firestarter lolol
just done mine.that didn,t click in .it just fell into place even with the hope tool
when you put the q/r adapter back after the cassette it all holds in place.
freaked me out as well i even bought a new one and it was exactly the same

There a small lip it fits into, once it's in the lip just fit the hub back in and ease it in with a small crew driver of finger nails(might need female to so that bit) and and can service my maitous and fox forks 😉

no mate perfect.
did a google on this and a few guys over on pink bike and moredirt said exactly the same thing.
it just slips into place. put everything back together and the q/r adapter sorts it all out so the freehub cant slip back up the axle.
then when on the frame q/r tension keeps it all together as well.
there here if you want one .

Hi meant to reply but couldn't get site to work earlier. Still got nowt to click in but with the end cap on it spins freely. And feels secure I took it to local hope dealer and he said it seemed fine to him (tbh it looked different to the pro2 he had in the shop tho)

hi mate.i,m sure that it,s ok to ride like this as it,s all really held in place by the frame.
The only thing i was thinking about was how effective the seal would be if it slips on so easily, water and general shite.
Andy W...how big was your hammer.lol
firestarter.arnt the newer ones a little bit different?

i think (maybe wrong) but the older pro2 seal is different from the newer pro2 seals and thats why i cant seem to click mine in.

the seal on the new one in the shop yesterday was different to mine without a doubt

I'd replace the seal as part of replacing the bearings - it's that which helps keep the crud out, so replacing it makes sense. Old seal might be damaged, or become damaged when removing.

Available at all Hope stockists - or buzz us if you struggle!

Si
