Watching with interest what happens today.

Was going to pull the trigger on a 60D until I started hearing rumors it will be replaced with a 70D. Maybe getting announced today.

If the body got announced last month you’d still be waiting until Feb at the earliest before any started shipping.

Without knowing what you want to shoot, what kit you have and what budget, I would say a 5D2 would pliss over any such alternatives, budget notwithstanding.

I saw a useful chart on wikipedia certainly suggsets that the 70D is next in line for an update.

I bought a 650D in the end, by the way 🙂
60D was pointless when the 650 came out.

Amazon were doing the 60D for £530 before Christmas. Billy bargain, unless the 70D is something special

UPDATE: Supposed to be announced 19th or 26th March Now

Holding out to see what the 70D spec is like and if it doest suit may just get a 6D on Credit or wait for the 7D Mk 2 in September.

Will it be marginally better than the last one and not as good as next years?

Not at all excited, I’m more interested in the new 4/3 cam that Olympus say they are working on 🙂
