    I think i know the answer but just incase…i over saved a CAD file which I had worked on with a revised floorplan and thus lost all my previous work.
    No back up file available but can I go back to an earlier date on the PC or something….not much expectation TBH.

    autocad?
    if so, go into options. then files tab, copy either temp file or auto save file location then paste it into explorer. Find the file you want & change file extension to a dwg.

    Ah XP is a bit early

    Win 7 has a restore previous versions of files has saved the bacon many times
