Well my battery has finally died after 7 years so going to be getting a replacement from mtbbatteries.

Seems that stem mount is all the rage but as I’ve always used a bottle mount just thought I’d ask if affects handling having the extra weight up on the moving bits?

It would depend on the weight of the battery but if the battery is small enough to fit on the stem it won’t weigh much anyway. My Magicshine Li battery pack isn’t noticable when mounted on the stem.

Did do a ride last week just with headtorch (due to defunct bar light) and found it pretty terrifying down anything technical….no light at all where my eyes were wanting to check out! Definitely a fan of both!

I’ll see what options are available tomorrow, weight and endurance wise,

A lot of people set their headtorch so it points where they’re looking – where was yours ?
