Evans/CRC/Wiggle ... what is/was the point?
At the age of 63 I’m considering (if my late parent’s house ever sells) my first ever full sus. I’ve always fancied Orange but a bit concerned over the rear end rise if using the rear brake. Do the modern models do this or can you live with it?
@wheelsonfire1 - I had a 2012 Orange Alpine 160 and it made no difference that I could tell compared the the multi-pivot bikes my friends all rode. I can’t count how many times I’ve been told that my single pivot bike wouldn’t be as good as theirs, but it didn’t slow anyone who rode it down. I think like all bikes it’s just a matter of getting used the them
Good geometry and a decent rear shock are much more important.
