[Closed] Anthem X bushings etc. Help!

I recently replaced the top shock bushing on my anthem x, after it had developed some play. This reduced the play by a lot, but upon re-fitting I now have a weird stiff clunk coming from the Lower shock mount. It seems like there's a bit of movement between the shock and the rod that passes through the bottom eyelet. When I reassembled the shock and mount, there were two sleeves that fitted onto this rod, either side of the shock mount (to locate it centrally), but no bush or similar between the rod and the eyelet. Should there be some kind of bush here, or does the shock just slide straight onto this rod?

Hope this is clear, and thanks for any assistance.

There should be a bush in there (a tight press fit in the shock) same as the top end. I'll find a pic...

EDIT: see here:

http://tftunedshox.co.uk/info/mount_kits_bushings.aspx

they don't show you the bushing in the eyelet, but you can probably work it out. It is a tight press fit though, it might look like part of the shock.

Post a pic and I can advise better (as I'm sure can others).

Thanks IA, that's really helpful. It looks like I may have reassembled without putting in a bush in the lower mount, though I didn't see one when I disassembled the unit. I have a spare DU bush (exactly the same as the top one), so presume I can use that with the same tool (I have the BETD tool).

I'll try and post a photo tonight or tomorrow.

For those that are interested, this is now resolved. It turned out that the bottom shock mount/pivot bolt was loose. Durr! I also managed to speak to tech support, who said that there is no bushing between the pivot/shock mount and the lower shock eyelet. In other words, the shock just slides straight onto the rod.

Cheers.

I had a click coming from my anthem linkage....turned out to be one of the bearings on the upper linkage moving in and out . Took me ages to work it out (and took it apart twice.) I had to loctite it into the arm and all was good.
