Brain is like a scratched CD - stuck in a loop.

I'm after a new pair of 31.8 mm bars, 685mm is fine, with 30-50mm rise.

Can't decide whether to get some vanilla alloy bars, such as EA70s or spend a bit more and go for carbon or I'm now even eyeing up scandium.

Any opinions on this?

I've run som (cheap) carbon bars before (Answer ProTapers) and I like the feel but I'm a tad concerned about long-term crashability, especially if I spend £100 on them. Scandium might offer the best of both worlds - light yet robust....
