Found these the other day on a flytip and it seems they are sample disks from a vintage sampler of some kind.

Could they be the lost works of Dr Dre and worth a fortune ;).

Anyone know anything about getting Akai2000 floppy disk content to pc.

Going to grab a few disks next I pass and look for the actual sampler.

I used to have an E-MU sampler. Similar thing. I seem to remember loading all my old sample disks on to a HDD which was accessed via SCSI.

Bloody ballache in other words. This was about fifteen years ago so things may have changed.

Found this software and will give it a try.

Not really into music as such but the conversion challenge seems fun. (Sad hey)

My money's on them having innocuous labels to disguise the fact they're loaded with mid 90s bitmap hedgeporn.

Some of those are high density disks too. 1.44Mb of porn 😀
