[Closed] advice pls - Hope Pro 2, Mavic XC717, spoke lengths????
Greetings, any advice pls..
Not new to the bike game, but new to wheel builds...the exact art is now lookin less exact the more time I spend lookin at the charts???!
tryin to work out:
Hope Pro 2's disc on Mavic XC717, 12 mm nipples, 3 cross pattern.
have many different answers, relative to disc, drive side etc, also my current 6.1d's seem to specify different spoke lengths to as built, when in the calculator???
Generally intelligent, but verging on baffled, any knowledge greatly appreciated.

No worries - I assume this calculator uses std 12mm spokes:
I usually use wheel pro but they didn't have the XC717 rim data but I put it in manually and its the same.
However are they 36 or 32 spoke hubs?
slight oversight, yes 12mm nipples, 36 hole, thanks for info and guessin right!

Was lead to believe that the Mavic 717 ERD was not 541 but in fact 538.5. Mavic site is wrong!
As the owner of a rear Hope Hoop Pro2/xc717 I simply must add - WTF is this about?!!!!
