This isn't a dig at you Hora, but I'm in the same industry as you except I own the Agency and we are struggling like everyone else stress upon stress upon stress, I ride at least 3 times a week road and MTB and at swim at least twice, it really helps with the stress, try some more exercise it may help.

KINGTUT. Yes, its that bone-deep weariness. Come home, monosyllabic, dog-tired. Sit infront of the tv almost shell-shocked. Your right. We've downsized down to 3 consultants, moved offices, slashed as much as we can off overheads and I almost keeled over on Friday (dizzy) with the stress 🙁

Rather than crack open the alcohol tonight, I'll have a swim.

Try staying off the Booze for a couple of weeks. Worked wonders with me.

Get rid of your telly and get out and do exercise instead, that'll help too

I’ve been off Booze caffeine and junk food for just over a week now as I was feeling rundown. The first three four day where hell but today I feel like I could take on the world!

the blood was simply to show you the wrong line and enable you get over it smoothly hope it helped

Shoulder worse in terms of bike riding the cheek is a flesh wound and yes cut to the bone and bled till it was stitched

Looked at my helmet today and it is cave din on the side that hit the ground thank God I was wearing that or I would have been out cold minimum and air lifted /black bagged out of there.

If your shoulders stiff I'd give it a few more days- matey had an innocous fall and ended up aggrevating bruised ligiments in his shoulder leading to surgery 😯

Its the internet. Same as down the pub. Its not meant to be serious. If someone comes onto a forum and expects it to be the realworld then they spend too much time online than with people (all IMO).

It's all light hearted banter, I like Hora, but he's been "riding" for several years now. I know we're all constantly improving, but come on…..

nbt Ive been riding since the early 90's, broke my elbow in 94- came back in 2000 after concentrating on a hobby of beer and girls for 6yrs, broke my arm/shoulder/ribs in 2003, cracked the same arm in 2007. Everytime I seem to be getting fit I go and overdo it ffs.

hora – come out with us again on THIS ride in August – it has a lot less climbing. By the time the climbs do come round its too far out to bail!
