  • A question for DVO fork users

I have a DVO Onyx SC fork that came on my Ripmo AF.

I want to do a lowers service, according to the service info I need 7.5w oil, DVO say not to use Motorex oil as it can swell the seals and I’ve read elsewhere not to use Rockshox oil for the same reason.

So question is fellow DVO fork owners what oil do you use? There doesn’t seem to be much 7.5w available.

And could I use a different weight oil, in the shed I’ve got I’ve got Stendec 5w & 15w and some Fox 20w Gold.

DVO say not to use Maxima oil, Maxima make RockShox oils so that’s why RockShox oils is not advised either. Motorex will be fine.

Just checked the bottle and looks like I have been bunging Motul 7.5 oil in my DVO Beryls each lower leg service. Couple years in and no issues yet.
