Damian Lewis in Life, not that old but I thought it really enjoyed it (only 2 series). No doubt in part becuase I really like Mr. Lewis's performances.
& am throughly annoyed that they've cancel Stargate Universe, it was just warming up nicely.
I really like Ally McBeal and also Friends....
....no i'm not gay.
Drop The Dead Donkey was good, as was Big Train, The Fast Show was brilliant too....Newman & Baddiel was awesome.
The Lakes, John Simm was brilliant in that.
Street hawk, Automan, Blue thunder, Manimal
Probably look cack now, but loved them back then.
Nighty Night.
Grizzly Adams
A-Team
Northern Exposure
Twin Peaks
Nuff said.
+1 Druidh.
Spitting Image
Where, oh where was Spitting Image through the Blair/Brown years, eh?
I LOVED this series.
Catweazle
Monkey Dust
Time Trumpet/Anything Armando Ianucci
Close the thread.
SALVE!
Motor Mouse and Auto Cat? Secret Squirrel? Batfink? My Favourite Martian? The Banana Splits? Tomfoolery?
Red Shoe Diaries.
Got the 12" Brian May remix of Star Fleet on vinyl at home somewhere 😳
Must dig out the Ren and Stimpy box set again, with a few beers, obviously....
This was excellent - Dead Like Me
Starring Inigo Montoya, that. </randomtrivia>
Among many others that don't immediately come to mind.
slainte 😀 rob
M*A*S*H
Soap
Hart to Hart
Dallas
Buffy, and Angel.
I used to right like Juliet Bravo with Anna Carteret in the lead role; I've always had a bit of a thing for Babylonian Birds.
And no, it's not what you think...
...it's much, much sicker. 😳
And she'll probbly turn out to be someone on here's mum or aunt or something. 😕
And I've just aired my thoughts on a Public Forum. 😯
(Goes off for a little lie down)
Firefly, Buffy, Angel, Dead like me, Life, Veronica Mars.
24..
Cold Feet.
I always watched MacGyver although I was about 11-12 so obviously it was cool. I think if I watched it now it might have dated a fair bit... 😉
Edge of Darkness - cool, edgy!
A Very Peculiar Practice - a bit black...
A few slightly leftfield,
American Gothic. (I now have this on DVD; if you get it, Google the correct running order as, as presented, it makes no sense).
Dark Skies. (Criminally axed mid-series).
Now and Again. (Around the same time as Dark Skies, same lead actor).
+1 a-team and kick start, a few classics, one summer, scully, one man and his dog( for some bizarre reason)Miami vice,Mr benn.go fishing with jack charlton.
from back then
More recently
There's a Bill Hicks special coming up on BBC4 soon
Firefly
Dead Like Me
Pushing Daisies
Wonderfalls
Deadwood
Carnivàle
Flash forward- there was meant to be a series two but havent heard about it yet.
And survivors on the Beeb, think the next series was pulled because of the swine flu outbreak. They didnt want to scare people i suppose!
Dark Skies. (Criminally axed mid-series).
And that too......
Another vote for Firefly.
This... this has to be one of THE BEST comedy programmes, like eva.
It still makes me giggle, what with the Scottish HR suggestiveness and Dr Lathams preversions.. The interaction with interns and the interplay with Stephen, Tamsin and Julian.. perfect casting, inspired.
Why, why did it end?
I've a bit of a thing for Tamsin..
well .........what is it?
It's vaguely familiar but that's all
My favourites are still on - Breaking Bad and Entourage 🙂 Out of the ones that aren't on, I always loved 24 despite how predictable it is.
Vaguely familiar..
Indeedy..
GREEN WING
American Gothic. (I now have this on DVD; if you get it, Google the correct running order as, as presented, it makes no sense).Dark Skies. (Criminally axed mid-series).
Good choices!
I really enjoyed Space: Above and Beyond, don't think that made it past the first series though. 🙁
Would have liked them to have finished the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon too, it got axed before they got home. They had written a finale for the third series, but it was never made. 🙁
I'll add Green Wing to my previous choice of Nighty Night then. Did no-one else watch Nighty Night? What about the original 'V'?

"Requiem." The script is online somewhere (on the writer's home page, IIRC). Worth a read, it's pretty good.
Couple of strange suggestion above I think.
Edge of darkness & Farscape both 'finished'. They weren't cut short, Edgeof darkness was only ever going to be one series, the main character were dying of radiation poisioning? (well the one left was)...I haven't seen the Mel Gibson film remake.
Farsape had 4 series and a big finishing episode, though wiki says it has 10 webepisodes too (wtf?), oh well.
I would prefer firefly though.
oh and Mongrels (fantastic fun) has a second series coming on BBC Three in autumn 2011... yay!
EDIT: I did see this thread as a "shows you want brought back", maybe I took it in the wrong spirt

Yar, Michael Reaves I believe. I think it actually left it open whether the kids decided to go home or not and had Venger being redeemed. Sadly didn't have Uni being shot out of a trebuchet...
"Lost", yes they messed it up and the ending was sh*te but it was totally orginal and the first 3 series did keep you watching.

Early Doors has got to be one of the finest sitcoms ever.
I really liked the first and only season of Glory Daze on e4, shame they won't be making a second one, because apparently i was the only one who did!
Blankety Blank (the Wogan Years)
321 with Ted Rogers
Rent A Ghost
8 out of 10 cats...

Programmes from your childhood? Can't believe no ones's touched on THE MAN! 😀

Dark Skies was great! A bit creepy, but very cleverly written.
has this bindun?
I was mad for this when I was little.
Monkey magic oo-ooh..
The Peep show. Just watched the episode where he came in his pants after an episode in the stationary cupboard. Made me laugh quite a lot.
