Flash forward- there was meant to be a series two but havent heard about it yet.
And survivors on the Beeb, think the next series was pulled because of the swine flu outbreak. They didnt want to scare people i suppose!

Dark Skies. (Criminally axed mid-series).

And that too......

This... this has to be one of THE BEST comedy programmes, like eva.
It still makes me giggle, what with the Scottish HR suggestiveness and Dr Lathams preversions.. The interaction with interns and the interplay with Stephen, Tamsin and Julian.. perfect casting, inspired.

Why, why did it end?

I've a bit of a thing for Tamsin..

My favourites are still on - Breaking Bad and Entourage 🙂 Out of the ones that aren't on, I always loved 24 despite how predictable it is.

American Gothic. (I now have this on DVD; if you get it, Google the correct running order as, as presented, it makes no sense).

Dark Skies. (Criminally axed mid-series).

Good choices!

I really enjoyed Space: Above and Beyond, don't think that made it past the first series though. 🙁

Would have liked them to have finished the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon too, it got axed before they got home. They had written a finale for the third series, but it was never made. 🙁

I'll add Green Wing to my previous choice of Nighty Night then. Did no-one else watch Nighty Night? What about the original 'V'?

"Requiem." The script is online somewhere (on the writer's home page, IIRC). Worth a read, it's pretty good.

Couple of strange suggestion above I think.
Edge of darkness & Farscape both 'finished'. They weren't cut short, Edgeof darkness was only ever going to be one series, the main character were dying of radiation poisioning? (well the one left was)...I haven't seen the Mel Gibson film remake.
Farsape had 4 series and a big finishing episode, though wiki says it has 10 webepisodes too (wtf?), oh well.
I would prefer firefly though.

oh and Mongrels (fantastic fun) has a second series coming on BBC Three in autumn 2011... yay!

EDIT: I did see this thread as a "shows you want brought back", maybe I took it in the wrong spirt

Yar, Michael Reaves I believe. I think it actually left it open whether the kids decided to go home or not and had Venger being redeemed. Sadly didn't have Uni being shot out of a trebuchet...

A few slightly leftfield,

American Gothic. (I now have this on DVD; if you get it, Google the correct running order as, as presented, it makes no sense).

Dark Skies. (Criminally axed mid-series).

Now and Again. (Around the same time as Dark Skies, same lead actor).

Dark Skies was great! A bit creepy, but very cleverly written.

The Peep show. Just watched the episode where he came in his pants after an episode in the stationary cupboard. Made me laugh quite a lot.
