I have North Borders by Bonobo. Another fine album

Rediscovered Adamski NRG the other week. Takes me back to the early 90's. Saw him doing that live.

'Königsforst' - was the other Gas album. Probably my favourite 'autumn/winter solo ride' or '1am through the cans' tune:

it's a bit specific, but that's because all my other responses have been covered.

Underworld, Cowgirl_Rez. With the Koyaanisqatsi time-lapse video, for extra betterness.

Probably not the best but some ones i like (and can think of)

Aim - cold water music
Aim - fabric live (17). Version with Souls of mischief is better IMO. which lead me to...
boards of canada - music has the right to reply
Gil scott heron/ jamie xx: we're new here

most recently: Jamie XX - in colour

I listen to a load of electronic music...

I've always been blown away by the really early stuff -

Tontos Expanding Head Band - Zero Time 1971
Raymond Scott - Soothing Sounds For Baby (vol 1,2 and 3) 1963/4
Joe Meek and the Blue Men - I Hear A New World 1960
Pierre Henry, Michel Colombier- Messe pour le temps présent 1967

Vom Himmel Hoch from Kraftwerk deserves a special mention as well.

^ 🙂 🙂 Cowgirl/Rez

Like most here (I imagine), I first became aware of Underworld because Trainspotting lager lager lager blager. Was initially cold towards them (still can't hack that song'). Wasn't until 1999/2000 (shit is it that late already?) that a friend handed me a mix CD that I really dipped in and became FOREVER SMITTEN. The last EP in the riverrun series (I'm A Big Sister...') is probably worth a mention, it features some ambient/introspective pieces and glides along beautifully.

Notice they're doing Glasto this year? (Imagines Underworld collaboration with Jeff Lynne/ELO (omgomgomgtrippinballllsss!)

Some standouts in those lists

plaid, ulrich snauas, boards of Canada,

Can't believe someone said Faithless. That's like chucking a late 80s Phil Collins album into a discussion on heavy metal drum solos.

I probably prefer Aphex Twin's SAW2 to SAW.

Also forgot to mention:
Yoseph - Luke Vibert
The Apocolypse Strikes Black - Public Enemy - does that count?
Bio Rhythm 2 - "808 909 1991" (compilation from network)

I've pre-ordered Global Underground's new Afterhours album as the preview on Soundcloud sounds right up my street. And because my memory is shocking it will be a total surprise when it turns up.

Only going to pick from what I have been listening to this week. Otherwise this list would be about 2000 artists long.

BOC - Music has the right to children
Yasume - Where We're From the Birds Sing a Pretty Song
Global Communication : 76:14
Burial - Kindred EP
Radioactiveman - Radioactiveman
Diagram of Suburban Chaos - Status Negative
Ambidextrous - Errorism
Jóhann Jóhannsson - IBM 1401, A User's Manual
Gidge - Autumn Bells

...it's been quite a chilled old school kinda week.
