The Goa Mix original - Paul Oakenfold.
Not strictly an album but a mix new enough at the time to be properly groundbreaking. I still remember a 'relaxed' night around a mate's and being surprised by the first playing of this on the Essential Mix, followed by a loooong silence from all of us.

Nearly forgot!:

Isao Tomita - 'Snowflakes Are Dancing' (Debussy)

A well-loved staple since chancing on an old cassette at work about 20 years ago. Used it for therapy/time-out for a profoundly autistic individual and consequently fell for the album myself. So completely that I had to get my own copy. There is something timeless, soporific and dreamy about it. Also convinced me that dated/electronic/classical doesn't necessarily mean either contrived or soul-less.
