Slight hijack - I have a kraftwerk shaped hole in my collection. Is there a decent compilation/compendium to get me going.

And Jarres zoolook was revolutionary in the day, though I think the ambient track on waiting for cousteau is overlooked.

Leftism, orbital and all the above fo sho but to add
Chemical bros exit planet dust and propellerheads decksanddrumsandrockandroll

In addition to some classics listed above

The Orb - UFOrb
Trentemoller - The Last Resort
T-Power - Self Evident Truths of an Intuitive Mind
James Lavelle - Live at Cream V2
Squarepusher - Feed Me Weird Things

And a plug for my mates show on Estonian radio which is brilliant. Some of the best ambient and chillout stuff from back in the 90's through to more modern stuff. http://r2.err.ee/l/horisont That and you can giggle like a school boy each time he name checks the station in Estonian.

Resistance is Futile - Vera Volt and The Milliamperes.

It's not actually a real album, or group, but they could be huge in the Electronica genre if they were...

I always preferred UFOrb over Adventures in the Ultraworld

Kraftwerk - Tour de France - ideal for putting on when doing post-ride stretches - nothing is more appropriate!

@the purist The Mix is a good Kraftwerk compilation. Also recommend Transeurope Express, and Tour de France

If I was to file Screamadelica in either rock, alternative/indie or electronic, it would be be the latter, just because the Weatherall tracks make the album.
