Where they waffle on about router's dropping out, why do they show a little wave of info gently wafting around the room being careful not to hit the coffee table. Why don't they show it as it is.
Maybe my data wafts around the house like that but I'd always been led to believe it travels in straight lines powering through stone walls, people's bodies etc.
No, there's no real point to this thread.
It's all part of the 'make technology seem simple for al the imbeciles' methods employed by companies such as BT.
What would be more helpful if they would have ads telling people about the reality of the total joke that is BT Brawdband Customer Service....
BT Routers are very good things..but very annoying if you want to do anything more complicated than just suck down data thorugh them. They dont allow remote pinging for a start which means I cant use my PC as a Remote Potato server.
But I dont want to get rid of the homehub as its so stable and reliable.
Since you posted that elfin, I'll do the usual and point out flawless customer service at 3 locations and 3 contracts, with no connection problems and twice the speed of other providers... ๐
Adverts are for idiots, generally.
Adverts are for idiots, generally
Which is why I love them. ๐
It's from the same gene-pool as the BBC world news trailer, the one done by people who have no idea why satellite dishes need a parabolic reflector.
And can we have lots of confused bee's flying about as well
