Ordered some stuff for my mum which was to be delivered by Yodel. My heart sank when I saw the tracking number but thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt.

Unsurprisingly, the tracking data says "Front Porch", and since the house doesn't have one, she's a bit stumped. The package isn't anywhere obvious, and since it's a big bunch of flowers and chocolates it's not going to be hard to miss.

Are there any other favourite Yodel driver locations to leave stuff, or is more likely to be as I suspect: the flowers were chucked over the hedge and the chocolates enjoyed last night?

I'm assuming the seller (M&S) is obliged to refund me or send the order again? Even if found now the stuff is perishable and will have spent the night outside.

Yes - its the sellers responsibility to get the stuff to you. don't be fobbed off.

"Front Porch" seems to be short hand for "handed to neighbour", collected by random stranger - wouldn't panic *too* much yet..

Grrr.

Straight on to MS I suggest. We had similar on Mother's day with flowers but not from M&S. Upshot was a 2nd bunch sent the next day, the cost refunded and a free bunch sent to both my sister and I at our addresses as an apology (it was a relatively expensive joint present). Nicely handled by the firm - although I guess flowers the day after mother's day must be effectively worthless and the one's my sister and I were sent were probably saved from the skip.

I've had similar along the lines of 'left inside back porch' with a photo of my delivery outside in the rain. When I've queried it I've been told that drivers only have a few options to choose from on their gadget and can't be specific. I guess in the OPs case they didn't have 'chucked over a hedge further down the street' as an option 😕

Is it on the roof?

I sold 4 items on eBay 2 weeks ago. I sent them via collect plus who sub contracted to Yodel who wasted no time in making all four vanish.

Luckily one of the buyers had a contact at Yodel and after some behind the scenes goings on they turned up at a Yodel hub somewhere in the Midlands miles from where they should have been.Yodel have now successful ly delivered 3 and lost the fourth one but say it was delivered...

...I will tell the buyer to check the roof.
