The ashes are a devalued cricket series played between England and Australia. Unfortunately our antipodean cousins can no longer bowl or indeed bat to the required standard so the 5 match bi-annual format is going to be replaced by a single twenty20 every five years until they remember how to compete.

Great chase this by India, must be enormous pressure on them but they've handled it well, their clash against ****stan is going to be epic (perhaps... depends which ****stan team turns up of course!!)

Edit: I think it's worth admitting at this point that I have absolutely no faith in england progressing any further and in many ways it would be totally wrong for us to win the thing having been beaten twice in the group stages.
Would love to see India win the cup, tendulkar and the nation deserve it.

It should've been tbh... but we lack the bowlers to keep things tight enough unfortunately. Ah well, at least there's some joy to be taken in seeing our Captain stand up to the challenge 🙂
Reckon Sri Lanka will win this overall, that's who I picked at the start of the tournament, was never really confident of Australia's chances...
