Anyone have one ?
Any good ?
Are the games any good for kids ?
Already have the console, but kids been playing on the schools Wii seem to like it.
Better off just getting them a Wii ?

we got the boy one for Xmas as he seemed to love it in the shops, he seems to have got bored of it pretty quick and never asks to go on it, I asked a guy at work who has 3 kids and got one and he said the same

that being said when Halo or something comes out with Kinect capability I'm sure it will be running all day lol

Brilliant piece of kit, but novelty wore off pretty quickly in our house too. Saying that we need to get some more games.

Can't blame the nipper - she completed Kinect Adventures and Kinectimals is a bit lame.

Amazing piece of technology that could have some excellent usage outside of gaming. With gaming i think it's pants.

As above, looks good on paper. Wheras the Wii is never off.

I've got a kinect, but no sensor. Far more fun to be had with hack drivers and a PC.... 🙂

My lad got one for Xmas and to be honest the games are pretty poor so far . He's got Kinect Sports , Kinectimals and Kinect adventures and still plays Assasins creed 2 and Call of duty all the time.

What I was getting at! Seen the guy do 3D stuff using 2 of them? There's also a pretty cool video of some people doing minority report style touch screen gesture shiz.

I actually fail to see how the kinect can be made into a good gaming platform unless they bring out a controller to use in conjunction.

What's so much better / different with the Wii & it's group games/camera/whatever it has?

I think our Kinect is ace! Kinect Adventures is ok, i'll be buying either the party game one or Kinect Sports next.

Thanks all. The Argos ad got me thinking, £120 for the Kinect thing with some games. Wife ordered me to look into it.

We've got one and it is better than the wii although it's the same principle I.e get off yer arse and have a go. We got a sport game and a dance game, provided some fun over Christmas but not been touched since new years day 🙁

worth getting; great for kids - wifey and myself use the fitness games regularly and a great laugh when friends come round for some beer fueled games....
