Hi, my son just bought Plants v Zombies for Xbox 360, and he needed a Xbox Live Gold account to play it. I bought it for him online, but now the Xbox Live Gold account has been linked with my gamertag and Microsoft account.
He's playing the game as my gamertag at the moment, but he'd like to play it under his own gamertag (which currently exists only on the Xbox 360 ie no associated Microsoft or Xbox Live account).
Any suggestions what to do? Ideally I'd like to attach his gamertag to my Microsoft account and the Xbox Live Gold that I just bought, but I don't know if that can be done. Alternatively I don't mind shelling out for another 12 months' Xbox Live Gold membership for him (and I'll keep the one we just bought). If I do that, how do I set it up on the Xbox and associate it with his gamertag?
I've Googled this to death, and Microsoft support is totally useless - just wondering if anybody here has done a similar thing? Thanks.
No idea if it works with the 360.
I have XBox Live Gold with XBox One and as long as she uses the same console, SWMBO can play on her own standard XBox account and get the benefits of my Gold subscription.
