[Closed] Wyre Forest bid to create forest trust

Some interesting comments on that article regarding an MPs duty to represent the views of their constituents and how he is failing to do so.
I'd be interested to see an ownership map of the Wyre Forest, it's not as simple as many people assume.
As far as I know, all the Open Access land, the central area plus Postensplain and Hawkbatch, is FC owned.
Everything to the West, from Sturt towards Cleobury is privately owned and gets very few visitors because of the lack of suitable car parking.
Everything to the East is managed by Natural England, with a large part of it being owned by Cadbury.

It's not as straightforward as Private = bad, FC = good.
I see far more mountain bikes on Cadbury's land around Three Bear's Cottage than I do on the FC's official Mountain Biking area at Postensplain.
