ok, I'm calling on the STW hive mind for some help here.

Can anyone recommend WWII, London Blitz era, themed music, something suitable for.. oh lets say... a memorial service?

all my tired little brain can come up with is "there'll be bluebirds over..." but I'm wondering if anyone might know anything more classically based, or classical

thanks,
greg

it seems bad taste to play at a funeral but my grandad want "wish me luck as you wave me goodbye" at his funeral, funny and sad at the time, but seems fitting now

Glen Miller was very popular during WWII.

Glen Miller's signature tune was [url=

Serenade[/url] which would probably work at a funeral.

There's a track "Glen Miller is missing" in the Rock Follies tv series - though I think it was written for the series in the 70s.

All the WW2 generation in my family love it.
