I want to start a blog and Word Press looks the way to go as you can be mroe creative, pelase correct me if I am wrong, but to get the creative Word Press (.org, not .com) you need to sort out hosting, who do people out there use for their hosting?

Yes, that's correct. Unless you self host you don't get many options to customise. I use both dreamhost and one.com for hosting. Dreamhost has an automatic wordpress installation option but is prob more expensive, only went with them because i got a great deal first year. Not had any problems with one.com but it's not set up as nicely
