Sideways action.
Nice.
Burning Singletrack?
BLASPHEMER!
I'd forgotten there was a magazine
.
Not a stove here but the open fire has been on all day. Has been lovely
Woodburner has been on since 1100! Special Order 66 from Mrs M.
Enjoying my small open fire. Don't use it very often but it's cold enough today. Central heating keeps the house warm, the fire is a weekend winter treat 🙂
Both Clearviews (how tragic...) were roaring earlier. The place is boiling now, its borderline jumper-off temperature.
Love how enthusiastic newcomers to woodburnering are. 😛
Sat in the shed enjoying an Estrella, roasting away with the stove on. 🙂
Yes yes yes. Prime day for the wood stove. The cats have been comatose in the blistering heat all day 😀
Esse in the dining room lit since lunch, just let it burn out, charnwood in front room lit since 6pm.
Sat on sofa in t shirt.
stovax stockton 5 on full blast since 15.30, diy status means downfloor of the house has no rads currently so was a chilly 13.9C at that time. Just finished my home cooked fish curry, now sipping Jura superstition and sat in t-shirt at 20+C. OH still 4 layers, top one a great thick wolly....but at least she hasn;t said 'I'm cold!' for a while.
AGA Ludlow roaring away.. getting a bit warm so may need to withdraw a little.
Morso Badgertastic. Burning some hawthorn scavenged this time last year when the hedges were being laid.
2 on in our house (Cotswold-style)
Moreso Squirrel here. Not on today, though. I spent too much time outside to have bothered to carry the logs in.
We've a Stovax Stockton 8 HB, so it's on every day during the winter months as it's our central heating and hot water supply.
Just going out this morning to cut a Beech tree up to prepare the wood for next year.
When you use it as much as we do it becomes a chore rather than an event.
We snuck some steam coal on the other day and oh was it different. It lasted all evening on 4 pieces!
Hunter Herald 5 going strong here, although I may let it die down now as its currently 21C and I'm sweating!
