We've had a old stove in our main hall. It's efficiency is hopeless, so we are considering another new stove for there. We might go for another of these Dovre stoves, this time in the cheaper anthracite colour.

A brief squint says the Firebell FB2 is a bit cheper with a bigger output. Does anyone have any experience with them. Are there any other modern looking high output (10 - 15 kw) stoves I should consider?

sell a painting and get one of these:

7-16Kw
Charnwood coves are gorgeous but a bit pricey. (Although the Cove 2 has better proportions IMO) We were considering one when we found a Lacunza Leyre going dirt cheap at a shop near the Long Mynd - continental fires @ church stretton - I think they still import lacunza (I think I paid £699)

Got a Morso in our front room mcmoonter, just a Badger though, not such an output as you're looking for but a really great stove; easy to light, looks stylish I reckon and we like it lots.
