So husband of my wife's freind calls looking for his wife apparently they had a row and she had stormed out. He then said to my wife 'but i'm over it now.

i'm innocenty sat in my office room minding my own business when wife comes up to tell me. At the 'over it now' bit i decide its best to keep quiet.*

Now my wife is stropping with me because apparently i do the same.

What! So how does that female logic work then...her friend has a row and i get it in the neck too?

*ok, maybe i smiled at that stage. But just a little.

ok when you argue you think it is over once you calm down and just want to forget about it she does not and is still upset/hurt by what you say. She does not want to froget and just move on especially if you are the one in the wrong [ which she will think as you did argue]. She raises the issue subtly, and probaly not for the first time, by reference to your friend trying to get you discuss the issue. You dont even get the point never mind the hint she was gently making and smirk at her thinking it is funny. Now you are confused for why she is upset at you.

I could go on but I think I will just confuse you some more 😉

female logic

Men = logic

Women = emotion

The two don't work in harmony; there's a lot of adjustment and "oh ffs..." from the men and tears from the womenfolk.

I think men are better able to forgive and move on.

Once an argument has finished I think most men will think to themselves..."well, I'm glad that's over, I hope she's still not mad at me".

Women on the other hand think the issue is not over until you've sat down and discussed it and come to a conclusion - i.e. agreed that she was right and you were wrong.

I'm sure many men have had an arguement with their other half, only for her to be in a huff all day. Then while you're in bed 10 hours or so later, she'll turn to you after 10 hours of silence, and say "well aren't we going to talk about it?"

And you'll say "talk about what?"...which means she'll be in a huff in the morning too.

Women.

My wife's stropping because I put "lots of love" in her valentines card. She's wondering why it wasn't "all my love" and want's to know if she's getting "lots" who's getting the rest...

She has a point although to be fair, I get 'from Ben' in my cards so others have it worse tell her...

Fixed for you Elf

Is that the sort of comment likely to appease a woman? It strikes me not, but given it's a woman suggesting it I have to wonder if my logic is flawed.

Men = logic

they like to think so, but what they really mean is the emotional sophistication of a bucket of cold sick.

Men = children

is my experience
