Has anyone ever seen a happy jogger?
I always used to run with a smile on my face.
I genuinely loved it. Injuries, non-running mostly, forcing me stop pisses me off most days.
Me. Happy. Today. Having run to the top of a hill.

I mean, why wouldn't I be?

Is that Binners under that pile of stones in the second pic?
But we're all asking ourselves the same question...
Now that he's disposed of that body, when will he kill again?
Has anyone ever seen a happy jogger?
Currently enjoying a week of Spanish sun. Theres a beachside pavement and cycle path that is rammed with happy runners and cyclist.
Even my fourteen year old daughter said "god we are so behind in the the UK"

You'd have been happier if you'd ridden your bike up it and then down again though.
He was late to the pub, had a flat tyre and no change for the bus......there is no other rational explanation for running anywhere......ever.

Not necessarily. And anyway, a good portion of the summit involved shoulder-height bracken, heather, broom and juniper. Not really the place for a bike.

Nah, that's Jamba, that is...

😯Not really the place for a bike.
Okay then. You'd have had more fun taking a leisurely stroll up that hill 😉
All very amusing on this thread however if someone had done similar piss taking on a car v cyclist thread it would have led to the people making jokes about it getting life time bans and lots of abuse.
Hypercrits the lot of you 🙄
"god we are so behind in the the UK"
Get yourselves down to sunny Southend-on-Sea.
They have mile markers along the prom so you know how far you've run/walked and it also has a cycle path along it's length.

Because of course dozens of people have been killed by joggers...

If I lent you a straw could you go and suck the fun out of someone else's day :D?

To be fair, it was almost all piss taking on my recent car vs cyclist thread, so they're not hypocrites at least 🙂
No, but they do kill raccoon's
That's a weird read - things like...
Borch remembers looking back once to see if the raccoon had started chasing her again.“It felt like [Stephen King’s] ‘Pet Sematary,’” she said.
and...
The dead raccoon was retrieved by Borch’s dad, who packed it into a Taste of the Wild dog food bag
🙂
What an investment banker!
(Hoping rhyming slang isn't considered swear filter avoidance....!)
😀
It's not all bash n barge along the embankment.
Just back from a lunch time "run" and was overtaken by the Polska mens speed walking team.
As they wiggled past I had a nice chat with them. They told me their race was on sunday and I wished them good luck. They asked me what I was training for and they were kindly impressed when I told them I was recovering from a 100 mile ultra.
Three blonde fellas... give them a cheer if you happen to turn the TV over and catch the race.... blooming nice chaps they were
The Japanese speed walking team were out practicing around Bushy Park this morning when I passed though on my commute at about 0645. I gave them a "konichiwa" and got a nice smile and response in Japanese from most of them.
Maybe all speed walkers are happy and cheery.

training for this?
Yes.
Being in the US might be considered to be quite a good alibi...
Wonder how many people had named him on social media and are now going to look at what they said...
I've never looked on Twitter before, but the opening statement appears to say they arrested 1/3 of him 😯
Maybe the jogger is his evil third?
I'm surprised that they can't trace his complete run from the cctv and find out where he set out from and where he ended up.................
It's true, joggers will kill us all.

Are they worse than hypocrites?
Because of course dozens of people have been killed by joggers...
Well - on Taggart its always a jogger that 'discovers' the bodies.
No smoke without fire I reckon.
Hasn't he been I'd,d as a merchant banker who is claiming he was in the USA at the time?
Hasn't he been I'd,d as a merchant banker who is claiming he was in the USA at the time
I think he's able to prove he was in the US rather than simply 'claiming' it. Comes as cold comfort for him though as someone obviously
a) thought he looked a bit like the fuzzy CCTV image
b) know that he's a jogger*
c) thought 'well, he is the sort of person who'd shove some woman under a bus'*
So it might not be true that he did it, but its clearly truthy enough for some of his friends and colleagues 🙂
* b and c are the same thing really
...thought 'well, he is the sort of person who'd shove some woman under a bus
He works in Private Equity so that's kind of a given 😉
