We live in north east Lakes so anything off road locally is a bog fest. My old man doesn't like trail centres so we've tended to ride on roads this winter, and we worry about mad drivers. Any suggestions for reasonable off road rides round here that aren't too boggy, please?

I think you need to head towards the rockier parts of Cumbria, no other real options. Some bits of Cumbria are totally weather proof e.g. Elterwater.

Borrowdale bash is pretty bog free, if you are driving to ride?

Thanks, guys. The weather is improving and we're getting off road again, so we're happy!
