What's your footwear of choice now that the nights are drawing in, and Councils up and down the land are realising that they haven't restocked their grit supplies?

My usual Clarks desert boots and Vans Era just aren't cutting it.

Am considering some Timberlands.

I used to love my cherry red 10 hole DM's.
Must have worn them every single day for about 5 years!

I quite fancy some DMs, a bit pricy though...need to find somewhere near me that sells 'em.

Had DMs years ago (oxblood and black)and can say they're not that good in icy conditions. I would go for another pair though except I hear the quality has gone downhill in the last few years. Please tell me this isn't so... 😥
Otherwise they're ace.

Folk Andres - decent leather, fur lined, good rubber sole.

The regular ones are made in Thailand/Vietnam now and the consensus seems to be that the quality has suffered.

There's a premium quality subdivision marketing the classic oxblood (or quillon) and black 8 and 10 holes plus a view other designs manufactured the traditional way in England. Obviously, you pay a premium for this!

(£99.95 for the 'Made in England' 8 hole 1460z rather than £54.95 for the bog standard 8 hole 1460z for example)

I bought some 'Hayden Chukka's' a couple of years ago. They're quite good and solid feeling, although the sole could be grippier.

I have had my Rossi Endura 303s for about 4 years now and they perform really well when the weather is pants - very comfortable and they keep my feet dry.
