Should stick to porn, it'll cost you less in the long run (halfway through an install in semi-open fireplace)
We've got an inset stove (due to chimney shape we couldn't convert the chimney breast) and it is good.
We did need to change the hearth for a slab of slate but otherwise it was a drop-in job after the chimney had been checked.
