ST have no answers, just wondering if anyone has a plausable reason why?
Its not just us, but the whole street?

There's a leak in the pumping station roof, so when it rains it causes the pump to short out, thereby interrupting your water supply.
I would get on the phone to the water company and tell them to fix their leaky roof.
