Just bought two brand new Memory sticks at Maplin, have used them both to do transfers of a few movies from one pc to another...
only thing is, their capacity now is only 1.87 Gb instead of the 4gb they were at the start?

Have you emptied your recycle bin or whatever it's called? Sometimes doesn't properly delete files unless you do that. Could try reformatting as well.

If you hold the stick with the USB plug facing down some of the memory elves will fall out...
