I know my title could have been a little more exciting, but still. Why do people just ignore positive news stories and dwell on the negative.
Because people are gossips and negative news generates more conversation and controversy.
You need a punchier thread title and maybe a bit of emotion / opinion rather than cut and paste of the press release.
Negativity bias, innit?
I don't live in Caerphilly so the news you've posted is of zero interest to me.
The video is about human nature & it doesn't matter which part of the country it comes from. In addition, your post reads like a press release = boring
Bad news makes the reader feel better about their own situation...
If the thread had a rising, emotive, radio-friendly theme tune kick in as you opened it, by Coldplay or Snow Patrol, that'd sort it.
