Every time I print anything it always feeds a blank sheet out first.
I'm a bit of a computer numpty so sorry if this is a stupid question.
Any help gratefully accepted.
have you got your page size set wrong? e.g. letter instead of a4?
It sounds like a setting to put a page separator in between print jobs. Have a look though the settings on your printer (Devices & Printers on the Start menu).

"Letter" is slightly longer than A4.
It could be set to print double sided? If its not a printer that can print both sides you will get one of the sides and the pc/printer thinks its done its job correctly
Mine if I go to print settings I can tell it to print odd/even pages
