Bought a bike rack from ebay - not got a tow bar fitted yet but the plug looks like this !

Isn't a 7 pin supposed to have 7 pins ?!!

Thats a 13 pin euro style plug, with the ones that aren't used have been removed. So either buy a tow bar with a 13 pin socket on, or a 7 pin tow bar, and a 7 pin to 13 pin adaptor ( for about £20)

Halfords have them - about £12
Just get a new plug and change it over. You can download a wiring diagram off the internet.
When we bought a Thule a couple of years ago it came with the Euro plug and when we had the towbar fitted they wouldn't fit a Euro socket so i the end I bought a UK plug and rewired it.
