When it’s traditional to give them on Easter Sunday.

Grrrr.

Is it to give Daily Mail readers something to be outraged about?

I've just got back from Tesco, it was full of the things.

Can't say I've noticed.

Is it to make way for all the barbecue stuff that folk will be wanting this warm, dry and sunny Easter weekend?

Can normally still buy them on the Tuesday around here. I often stock up on ‘em then when reduced. Mmm… yum.

Isn't this just caused by people buying them to eat or give on Sunday?

Go on I need to ask - what's a gesture egg?

Mrs C and I are both vegan, so we tend to buy virtual signalling eggs 😉

I went to two supermarkets on valentines day morning this year and both had got already rid of the valentines flowers. Not just sold out, but the whole display removed and replaced with hot-cross buns. I didn't seem to be the only one trying to buy flowers either.

Any decent chocolate is vegan anyway. Milk has no place in chocolate

Hardly any in Aldi this morning, but I think it's a stock issue not a policy

Nowhere around here clears the shelves but if they've got it right then they should be running down stock. It's important to be clear of easter stock quickly so you can get the halloween decorations on sale.

(I got a bit caught out this year, I was doing a christmas shop on the 23rd just to fill some gaps and get some wee bonuses etc and most of the big supermarkets were already tearing it all down. Sainsburys took the last christmas stuff down while I was still in the shop at about 2pm. Can't remember ever seeing that before?)

It’s what Jesus would want.

He'd also want to invite human beings to live forever as members of His family.

And taller ceilings

Had a trip to our local ‘overseas store’,it’s Iceland with a few Waitrose and coop  products added in had ‘the rant ‘ that Easter’s banned in London due to Ramadan combined with Brexit wasn’t done.

It was an ordeal to get my eggs 🙂
