I did once report one of my own posts though but heard nothing ...it is a long dull story but apparently I can call Pete Townshend a Paedo as long as I clarify that by this I mean he is /was on the sex offenders register

Banned once for 24 hrs, for posting a link to a video, every swear word from the Sopranos compiled into a 20 minute swearathon despite the fact I'd labelled the link NSFW, still rankles a bit, someone complained apparently ;shrugs;

The reasoning behind bannings and warnings on here are to a level playing field as a level playing field is to the Himalayas, as far as I can make out. Apparently, he "bites back" if he thinks you've "poked" him... 😕

I have glided through my posting career totally untouched, despite routine swearing. There was one post which I expected to get kicked out for but I got away with it.

Got cained, slippered and paddled at school. As well as a slap across the face from a couple of teachers. No probs as it was all deserved.

I know someone who received a year ban for pretending to arrange some fisticuffs with another poster and posting photographs of rainy locations in the middle of the night claiming the other poster hadn't turned up for the scrap.

Guy i ride with got banned for posting up a code which got rid of the annoying adverts on your screen. He thought it was kin funny and i don't think he's been back on here since.

I was given a year’s ASBO on a web wedding web site for telling a bride the truth.
They did not like that one bit. You & your wedding .co or some such.

Latterly I joined a professional society and was very disappointed to find it seemed to be set up to extract £ from the members although the members did not see it for all the smoking mirrors.
The directors never seemed to answer members’ questions fully and under the surface it was a most unhappy place.
About a week ago, disappointed with the society, I delivered a most effective EMO hand grenade and never went back.
I gather they are still deciding if I need keel-hauling & some are so up in arms they can’t see the wood for the trees. Some were talking legal action.
Mind you, for many I think it’s the first time they’ve ever seen such an effective EMO grenade. I’m rather proud of it!

Over on BM, a twit call Dylan got banned about a year ago.
He'd been telling various members he was going to kill them; although that was just the tip of his rather disturbed iceberg.
His last post was all about his dogging in Cannock Chase - or not. They finally closed him down.

Had a 24hour in the cooler for "swear filter avoidance". I spelled a word rhyming with runt with a couple of letters mixed up - mind you, I'd been doing it for a while but I still think someone reported me. Mind you, it was one of those Jade Goody (but not referring to Jade) threads when she died - I think a lot of us got cooling off periods around that time.

I think my password / code has been revoked and it's a society web forum where you can't read anything if you're not a paid up member.

The bride thing was getting on my ti"s.
This one silly girl was trying to lose about a pound of weight every 2 days and had 63 days to go. Actually I think it was more severe than that.
She seemed to be getting so much moral support from other brides-to-be, telling her to keep at it, not to succumb to the chocolate etc etc, how he'd want her to be as slim as possible, how it was the right thing to be doing.
Not a word about exercise or a note of caution.
Over the period of about 2 weeks I ingratiated myself with her and her circle of pals as a new bride to be, then read her the riot act, siting examples such as Chris Ryan's weight loss escaping the Iraqis and Ran Fiennes's experiences on his expeditions etc etc.

I was banned once for a joke impersonation of a mod. I simply said my post had been deleted also but was funnier than the other guys. Not insulting to anyone, not even mocking mods but I got a ban.

Funny thing was, I didn't even know I'd been banned. Just my log in didn't work. No warning, no e-mail, just the hand of god! (should that be a big G or a little G?)

Not had words from here, been told off over on TP a couple of times, (rules are much more rigorous over there)!

At school I was terrible, I held the record for the most slipperings in a school year, they wore canes out on me on a regular basis and I was only slightly uncontrollable!
