ยฉ Northumbria Police

Police are appealing for information after vandals daubed graffiti throughout Hexham.

Overnight between Wednesday, February 2, and Thursday, February 3, vandals sprayed graffiti onto walls and the side of a car in Hexham.

Outside walls in Wentworth Place, Hallgates and Tyne green were targeted, as well as a car parked in Tyne Green.

Neighbourhood Inspector Dave Thornhill said: "Mindless vandalism like this will not be tolerated in our communities and I'd appeal for anyone with any information into these damages to contact police as soon as possible. We are carrying out enquiries in the local area and speaking to residents."

Anyone who recognises the graffiti in the images or who has any information as to who is responsible is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 03456 043 043 ext 69191 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
