Looking for a weekend away with Mrs Rascal.
BH weekend one of May.
2 nights camping - nice facilities - MUST have a nice pub within a 2 mile walk.
Bikes might be involved but probably not...

This is one I've had recommended....any more out there worth a shout?

Birchover has a nice site with good facilities, pub in village, good walking and biking nearby. Barn Farm, that's it

This is definately under 2 miles between campsite and pub.

Been a long time since I last stayed there, but still seems to get good reports.

We had a great time at Lathkill Dale Campsite http://rowsonfarm.wix.com/lathkill not the plushest but the pitches were all separated and quiet with hedges.

Pub at Monyash was 5mins walk away and was legendary, heaving with nice people and serving very good beer, including local brewery Thornbridge who make that magical brew Jaipur...

Stayed here a few times... On the outskirts of the Peak, but good facilities, large play field for kids and a pub 5 minutes down the road.

Newhaven? http://www.newhavencaravanpark.co.uk/

Close to the Tissington and High Peak trails if you want some gentle bike action.
