IHN - They may be your initials, but I bet your birth name is not the mighty "South Manchester Massive" ?

Thanks folks - finally started a 100 post thread (and strangely this is only my second post on it!) ๐Ÿ˜€

In answer to the original question - which I never did at the time - if I had to pick one it would be sfb, as crucially I imagine he would be interesting company.

Oh, and I know it's not really the done thing any more, but 100!

all I hear is buzz-buzz-buzz-buzz ๐Ÿ™

that's very kind, but I'm unpredictably taciturn...

I 've always wanted to meet Mammadirt, because she was the first person on STW to respond me on here and that made me feel like one of the gang.

MCPH because he was the butterfly which beat it's wings .. .. .. ..

SFB and RudeBoy and CFH because (to me) they are the very fabric of Singletrack Village. At times they annoy/amuse/confuse/abuse/correct me, and that's healthy

Simon Ralli, unlikely to ever be confused with anyone else

And most of all our luvverly laydeeez. Hmmmmm "Grrrlies 'n' Bikes". I'd like to meet 'em, all of 'em, please!! But'specially Bunnyhop. (Isn't that just THE BESTEST username ?).

And FINALLY I think you should ALL meet Jester, he's my real life best mate and a better chap you'll never find in all the land (despite looking like the Thunderbirds supervillain and drinking like a Southern Halfpint Andy Shandy).

and drinking like a Southern Halfpint Andy Shandy

I'm never quite sure why NOT taking a drug should be considered a fault...

I somehow knew SFB would respond to my posting.

And I also just knew whatever Si had to say it would'nt be quite what I would predict or expect.

And that's why I'd like to meet ya !

phew, I would have thought I was grimly predictable, particularly on alcohol :o)

well, on a ride, which is where we're most likely to meet, I alternate between self-effacing (when I hope people don't notice how badly I ride) and shouty when people inevitably go the wrong way at every possible point ๐Ÿ™‚

Think I'd like to meet everyone at the same time, just to see how many niche groups formed, how fat the fat club is as a whole and to pose a really difficult computer question ๐Ÿ™‚

i'd just like to meet more people and ride more. but i get really anxious about it because i generally lack fitness to the point where i convince myself i won't be able to do most peoples' rides, so most of the time i don't bother.
it's stupid, and something i am addressing.
so hopefully i'll get to meet more of you than the ones i know already (binners, hora, nbt, bunnyhop, marin maketh the man)... wanna meet sfb (if only to meet someone else who is drug free, meat free but even more annoying online than i used to be myself!), ton (strikes me as being a seriously top fella) and plenty more...

xherbivorex

You should try offering to guide people around your local loops who then blast off into the distance. It's a bit embarrassing when that happens but yes, as per ton, people on STW are faberoonee and on the whole will wait for you to catch up ๐Ÿ™‚

BH- yeah, i'm sure i could. i'd like to ride *that* descent in't dark (or dusk, at least); i bet it would be fun. we'll make plans for next week?

tony- on the first southmanchestermassive ride i went on, i made them wait for me at the end of a couple of miles of old railway sleepers (on a stiffee=no fun at all) that very nearly finished me off!
