well, on a ride, which is where we're most likely to meet, I alternate between self-effacing (when I hope people don't notice how badly I ride) and shouty when people inevitably go the wrong way at every possible point 🙂

i'd just like to meet more people and ride more. but i get really anxious about it because i generally lack fitness to the point where i convince myself i won't be able to do most peoples' rides, so most of the time i don't bother.
it's stupid, and something i am addressing.
so hopefully i'll get to meet more of you than the ones i know already (binners, hora, nbt, bunnyhop, marin maketh the man)... wanna meet sfb (if only to meet someone else who is drug free, meat free but even more annoying online than i used to be myself!), ton (strikes me as being a seriously top fella) and plenty more...
sfb isn't drug free he drinks alcohol...

You should try offering to guide people around your local loops who then blast off into the distance. It's a bit embarrassing when that happens but yes, as per ton, people on STW are faberoonee and on the whole will wait for you to catch up 🙂
BH- yeah, i'm sure i could. i'd like to ride *that* descent in't dark (or dusk, at least); i bet it would be fun. we'll make plans for next week?
tony- on the first southmanchestermassive ride i went on, i made them wait for me at the end of a couple of miles of old railway sleepers (on a stiffee=no fun at all) that very nearly finished me off!
