Looking for a new phone. Always had a Nokia so I'd like to stick to them. Question is what should I avoid. Mate has the N85 and has had to sent it back 5 times.!
Any suggestions.?
nokia 6300 is a great phone for calls and texting. Battery is reasonable, screen is great, camera ok, really well built with a nice solid feel and can take a few knocks. If you need a phone tha can take great photos, browse the internet well and is a good mp3 palyer then this probably isnt the phone for you.
Nokia 6500 is bascailly a bette spec 6300-still well built but has a flash and 3g.
nokia n78 is good BUT the keypad is just so bad its unbearable. Shame as it good have been a great phone.
if you want a singing, all dancing phone, i'd probably look at the iphone, although the camera is pretty basic.
N78 is fine actually. does everything I want - camera, music player, GPS (great with Sports Tracker). Dunno why some folk don't like the keypad. I bet they run Schraeder valves too.
i love my 5800 good for music net and emails plus normal phone stuff 🙂

What was wrong with your mates N85? (only asking because the keypad fell off mine last week ;-(
i've had an n96 for just under 6 months, it's not a bad phone in theory but in practice it's so buggy that it's unbearable, crashes randomly and pretty much every time you leave it alone for an hour or more. was on the phone to vodafone this morning for an hour, managed to persuade them eventually to give me an alternative instead, think they're sending me a 5800. hope it's better!
they also didn't say anything about sending the n96 back, so don't know if i'm keeping that as well 😕
