Hi Looking for a Laptop as a backup to our Desktop,£500 maximum seen this Acer Timeline 4810T looks to meet our need's any advice welcome thanks
I just bought an acer aspire 5732Z from ebuyer.com for £400. Very happy with it thus far comes with Windows 7 pre-installed and main specs are pretty good:
- Intel pentium T4300 processor 2.1ghz 800mhz fsb
- 4gig memory
- 250 gig hard drive
Webcam, wifi, card reader, dvd rewriter etc.
+1 for Acer, I just bought an Aspire 5738G, which was £500 in Micro Avinca, though I'v since found that was a very good price 🙂 It's very nice but a bit overloaded with free software.
+2 for Acer - we got a 5735 from Ebuyer for £400 last July. Unfortunately it has Vista Home Premium though...
Haven't completely sussed the 'free' upgrade to Windows 7 yet.
