Been with the AA years without really thinking about it, used them once in all that time and I was pretty impressed with the service. What are the alternatives like, RAC, Green Flag. Cheaper, better?

Recommends please.

I'm with green flag, used them once when I blew the engine my car.

It was late on a Saturday night, they attended within half an hour and took me the remianing 40 miles home.

Got the same cover this year, £65. Not bad I think, for the peace of mind, knowing that they'll take you home. Even if it was on the back of a low-loader...

Solo.

I'm with these...

Not had to use yet, but feedback from other customers is generally good. And the price is right.

Been with Auto Aid for four years (cheap @ £32 a year for both cars), had to call out/claim last year and it was all dealt with quickly and easily. If you dont need the bells and whistles of the main providers, I'd recommend it.

Does your insurance not come with breakdown cover?

No but I believe it's an option, Green Flag I think. I'll check that out

Yeah worth doing as it's often included for free.
