Not the sultans of ping I'm afraid, more serious than that.
I need not one but two types of new jumpers. AAhhh
As I hate shopping so much I thought I would do the lazy thing and post on here instead.
So, I need one or two smart jumpers, which can fit over work shirts and a favourite jumper I can sit around in for reading and contemplation, or daydreaming. Neither can be wool as that is the cloth of the devil, so they need to be soft. The work jumpers have to be formal and smart and the favourite jumper should be durable because I like to read and daydream hard.
What have you got STW?

SATAN!! REMOVE THYSELF FROM THIS THREAD. BE GONE!!

wwaswas, I disagree, I'm not talking black tie smart, but I think you can still be smart enough in a shirt and jumper.

Anyway back to recommendations please.....

I didn't realise men still wore jumpers. I wear a light fleece if I need warmth.

John Smedley. Cotton, [s]merino[/s], cashmere depending on your budget.

They have an online outlet store as well.

Uniqlo.

Nice jumpers in several styles and dozens of colours. Their merino is nice and soft but they also do cashmere if you don't mind paying for it.

Gap normally have a range of suitable v necked jumpers. You'll want Lambs wool, as it the wool that doesn't irritate or scratch. Alternately if Gap is too scary a prospect, then M&S will provide the same.

Also, As I hate shopping so much Get a grip you big nancy ๐Ÿ™„

Decathlon have some OK plain ones in their golfing section - given mine end up getting worn through elbows from desk perched activity, I can't justify more expensive cashmere!

You learn something new every day!

I nicked a V neck jumper off my brother to wear over shirts and was surprised to find out it had been purchased at Tesco. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
Had it a few years and it's still in good nick.
